Hosted by Quinte Conservation, don't miss out on this Walking in the Woods event, part of the Woodland Wellness Series. Guided walks through the conservation area will be led by Donna Kaye.
Donna Kaye recently retired from her career as a Forest & Nature School Practitioner and Early Childhood Educator. She lives in Cherry Valley, Prince Edward County, where she enjoys long walks in the woods, gardening, and exploring the beauty of the natural world. She is the co-author of a new nature-inspired children’s book titled ‘Move Along Huxley and Roscoe’.
The walks will begin at 10am in the Conservation Area parking lot and will end at 12pm noon in the same location. Please bring everything you will need on the walk including water, sunscreen, bug spray, weather appropriate clothing, etc.
Washrooms are available in the parking lot at the beginning and end of the hike only. Walking routes will be determined on the day of the walk based on the group's speed and ability.
You are asked to take nothing but pictures, and leave nothing but footprints.
